Hello there everyone, I am Nick Elshire, a new Sports photographer in Northwest Indiana.
I began taking pictures at sporting events in April of 2024. I have always loved sports and photography and decided to buy a camera to start taking to sporting events. I graduated from La Porte High School in 2020 and since then have been trying to decide what I want to do with work. As of now I am currently a Produce Manager and just go to all the sporting events I can in my free time. I have always wanted to get into sports as early as elementary school with wanting to become a sports broadcaster (which I am way to awkward for now).
In the last year and a half I have been taking my camera to as many sporting events as I can get to and have been focusing on improving little by little each time and always trying new shots and angles. Most of my photography has been from the stands as I have yet to work at getting media credentials, but I did have the opportunity to shoot the 2024 DII America's Crossroads Bowl from the sidelines.
With upgrading my camera body and being close to getting the first of 2 lenses I want I decided if this is what I want to do and pursue I need to start working towards it. I'd love the opportunity to receive a media credential for your school/team. If I reached out to you about receiving a media credential I am 100% willing to send every picture I edit and post directly to you too.
